Grand Central Bakery is Coming to Hillsboro

Hillsboro’s downtown is walkable, close to light rail and perfect for our bakery. We can’t wait to get to the know the community.

Bakery-cafe will open in FOOD Hall with other Portland favorites

Outdoor seating will be part of the new food hall on 2nd and Main in Hillsboro.

“We’re so excited to invest in downtown Hillsboro and become part of the local community,” says Grand Central Bakery CEO Claire Randall. “Hillsboro’s downtown is walkable, close to a MAX line, and perfect for our bakery. We can’t wait to get to know the community and provide a warm and welcoming space for customers to enjoy our delicious bread, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee.”

The new bakery is the eighth location in greater Portland and the third Grand Central bakery-cafe on Portland’s west side, joining popular locations in Multnomah Village and Cedar Mill.

Grand Central Bakery is opening a new location on Portland’s west side, in a new development on 2nd and Main streets in downtown Hillsboro.

The new bakery-cafe, to open in late June 2023, will be joined in July by Portland favorite Sizzle Pie in 17,000-square-foot food hall with a rooftop deck, elevator and European-style plaza. Backwoods Brewing will open a pub in the space sometime this fall, and an additional food tenant is expected. The project will transform the former US Bank Building.
